Shawn Towne began his makeup career in the 1980s in San Antonio, Texas working with department store makeup brands.  In the 90s he built his freelance portfolio in Los Angeles doing makeup for model composite cards, magazine advertisements and TV commercials.  From there, his career took him to New York City where he worked as a top artist for Lancome Cosmetics doing makeup events for Saks Fifth Avenue and runway shows for designers Tracy Reece, Badgly Mischka and Oscar de la Renta.  In 2007, Shawn signed as a National Educator with jane iredale THE SKINCARE MAKEUP and was promoted to Global Educator two years later.  His work has taken him to hundreds of cities and over 22 countries. Images of his work and articles he has written have been featured internationally in major beauty and fashion magazines, trade publications and advertising 

campaigns.
