Charlie Risien is my closest confidant, surrogate mother and muse.  Her versatility and style never cease to amaze and inspire me.  She's a fearless survivor with a unique ability to see into the souls of others, an unwavering faith in God and a true gift of compassionate insight.  At 74 years of age, she continues to defy the laws of physics, nature, gravity and Texas.  A typical fun day for us consists of dressing up, playing with makeup, eating somewhere fabulous and shopping - codeword "let's rob a bank!"
